The proper Arisi appalam is seldom available in general market, so decided to try the authentic appalam from Varaha and it was perfect! Even kids can eat them as the spice levels are well balanced.

Maravalikizhangu appalam is little spicy.

Tastes very nice but for elderly or ulcer patients ,it would be nice to have a chilli free variant or one with less chilli. They can try it for limited orders initially. But salt and lemon combo is amazing. Chilli felt too spicy for elderly at home.
