🌾 Karuppu Kavuni Puttu – Royal Heritage in Every Bite
Karuppu Kavuni rice, once known as the "Forbidden Rice" of Tamil royalty, is rich in antioxidants, iron, and fiber. With Sri Varaha Karuppu Kavuni Puttu Mix, you can now enjoy this ancient rice as a soft and fluffy puttu — a healthy, traditional breakfast made easy.
🧂 Ingredients (for 2 servings):

Sri Varaha Karuppu Kavuni Puttu Mix – 1 cup

Water – approx. 1/4 cup (as needed for moisture)

Salt – a pinch

Optional: Grated coconut, ghee, palm jaggery, banana, or kadalai curry for serving
👩🍳 Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of Sri Varaha Karuppu Kavuni Puttu Mix.

Add a pinch of salt and sprinkle water little by little.

Mix with your fingers until the flour becomes moist and crumbly. It should hold shape when pressed and crumble when broken.

Let the mixture rest for 5–10 minutes.

Fill into a puttu maker or steam in idli plates, layering with grated coconut if desired.

Steam for 8–10 minutes until soft and fragrant.

Serve hot with your choice of palm jaggery, banana, or spicy kadalai curry.
