🧂 Ingredients (for 2 servings):

Sri Varaha Mappillai Samba Puttu Mix – 1 cup

Water – approx. 1/4 cup (as needed for moisture)

Salt – a pinch

Optional: Grated coconut, sugar or palm jaggery, ghee for serving

In a bowl, add 1 cup of Sri Varaha Mappillai Samba Puttu Mix.

Sprinkle a pinch of salt, and gradually add water while mixing by hand.

Mix until the flour holds shape when pressed, but crumbles easily. The texture should be moist, not wet.

Let the flour sit for 5–10 minutes.

Fill the mix into a puttu maker or idli steamer, layering with grated coconut if desired.
