🌾 Poongar Arisi Kanji – Savory Red Rice Porridge with Buttermilk
Poongar rice, often called “women’s rice”, is packed with iron, fiber, and natural strength-giving properties. With Sri Varaha Poongar Arisi Kanji Mix, you can prepare this traditional wellness drink quickly and easily — now in a savory, cooling version made with buttermilk and salt.
🧂 Ingredients (1 serving):

Sri Varaha Poongar Arisi Kanji Mix – 3 tablespoons

Water – 400 ml

Salt – as needed

Buttermilk – 1 glass (after cooling)

In a pan, add 3 tablespoons of Sri Varaha Poongar Arisi Kanji Mix directly to 400 ml of water. Mix well to avoid lumps.

Place the pan on the stove and cook on medium flame for 5–7 minutes, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.

Switch off the flame and allow the kanji to cool completely.

Once cooled, add required salt and 1 glass of buttermilk. Mix thoroughly.
